| Inquiry (sent on September 17, 2010) | Hello David Dorward, I am a bicycle commuter in the City of Edmonton, and with the advocacy group for the Edmonton Bicycle Commuters. I would like you to support the Edmonton Bicycle Transportation Plan. Mainly, make the commuting by bicycle more safe, like painting bike lanes on busy streets, and making separate bike lanes, separate from pedestrians and cars, with their own traffic lights, as seen in some European cities. Also, parking at LRT and Transit Stations should be secure, this will make cycling much more attractive to people, as it will be safe to ride your bike, whether it would be for commuting or for pleasure. It would create more bicyclists, less car drivers, meaning: less pollution, healthier population, and less strain on the city roads, making them last longer. (At least 265 days out of the year are bike-rider -friendly). If you ride a bicycle, would you please send us a photo of yourself?
